"in the woods with wheezers"
A Camp for Kids with Asthma

June 4 – June 9, 2017 Sunday—Friday

Peninsula Puffer is a one week summer camp program held in conjunction with Camp Fire USA.  Held in Cooper Landing Alaska, children ages 8 -14 with asthma and food allergies spend the week enjoying camp activities while learning about their asthma & allergies in daily lesions with our medical staff. Educational topics include pathophysiology, management, usage of asthma & allergy tools, medications awareness and self awareness. Campers participate in a total of 1 ½ hours of education per camp day.  Peninsula Puffers had medical staff on site 24 hours a day for the duration of camp.
