Peninsula Puffers Asthma Camp 2023 COVID- 19 Information

At AAFA, your childs health and safety is our top priority.  We will continue to closely monitor the status of the COVID- 19 pandemic. We are planning a safe program that follows CDC guidelines as well as state and municipal mandates. Our full mediation plan will be updated regularly as things change.

Current COVID mitigation policies

  1. Camper will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least four weeks prior to camp.
  2. Campers will be given a rapid test by medical staff at camp check-in on Sunday
  3. Campers will be given a rapid test by medical staff at camp on Wednesday
  4. Depending on the status of the pandemic in June, camp may require the following:
  5. Masking
  6. Social distancing

If COVID-19 symptoms (according to the CDC) arise in your camper while they are at camp, our registered Camp Nurse will be monitoring these symptoms. If they persist, families will be required to pick up their child from camp within 4 hours.
